I do not think so. The HS wad is intended for the larger inside diameter straight wall HS hull. The old style hull is tapered inside and gets smaller near the base.

The best wad I have found for the old style Winchester hull is the Downrange PC Orange 410. The Winchester WAA41 wads are no longer available.

Thanks skeeljc,Im new to this and it didn't seem like there was enough room in the hull to get a good crimp.I'll try the Down Range 410 wads,Thanks again.

Cooter, The one's that Winchester makes (red) are for the new HS hull only. Most of the clones will work in all three, but do check before you buy in bulk. Break-em all. Jeff

.410s are definately a challenge. I don't have any of the old Winchesters but just reloading .410 in general is interesting to say the least!

Cooter, The claybuster 5050's are just a good and will work in all 3 types of 410 hulls. Win. AA old style and new HS and Rem. hulls. Gamaliel does sell the Orange PC wads you are looking for if you still want them. Break-em all. Jeff

There are some old style Win. 410 wads for sale on Gun Broker.
Acess them thru the reloading section in "supplies".
There are also a fair amount of old style Win. 2 1/2" 410 hulls there also.
