Does anyone have a powder mfg. load that will duplicate Winchesters Sporting 1/2 oz 1300 fps without wad cutting?

    Rem hull WW209 Primer RP SP410 wad 16.5 gr WW296 Vel 1310 9800 LUP

Same load with 17 gr powder, vel 1340 10,300 LUP

    Rem hull, WW209 primer, WAA41 wad, 18 gr H110, vel 1370, 8000 LUP

OS AA hull, WW209 primer, FED 410 SC wad, 15 gr WW296 Vel 1310 10,000 LUP

HS AA hull WW209 primer, Yellow Duster wad, 13.5 gr WC820 Vel 1288 11,400 PSI

I have used the load in the Old Style AA hull. Works well, extracts from tubes okay. The loads I have used in tube guns with this data had CB1050 wads substituted.

The load with HS hulls has a high breech pressure but is well under the 12,000+ PSI MAP (maximum average pressure) in SAAMI specs for the 2 1/2" 410.

All loads use 1/2 oz shot. All loads are listed either in Lyman #4 manual or tested and documented by HP White Ballistic Lab.

Mike, try Hodgdon.com website. I found some with the H110 powder in the new Win. HS Hulls. at 1,200 & 1,250, and 1,300 with several types of primers and wads. Oh, Yeh H110 and Win. 296 are the same powder. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff
