    I was a kid, 8 years old. I was fascinated by the thought of human beings walking on the moon. Still am.

    What an awesome achievement.

    Where were you?

    What did you think about it at the time?

    It was very exciting, couldn't stop watching it, of course tv wasn't what it is now. I remember the fear when the Russians put up the first sputnick and how great it felt and how proud it was to be an American when we had the first on the moon. Never in a million years would I have thought back then that life in America would be like it is now.

    Sorry to say this, but:

    If you believe we were ever on the moon you are very nieve.

    Ask yourself this;
    Why in the last 40 years we never went back?
    Why has there been so much written as to all the reasons why we didn't go?
    Why at the latest press conference about the UNMANED LUNAR ROVER launced this year, the spokeperson was asked if the Rover was going to look at Tranquility Base, after 40 years. His answer was "We Are Not Interested in that".

    I was in London at the time of the reported Landing. On a high school trip.I was very proud to be an American that day. However, in the last 40 years I have read, watched and asked questions regarding the landing.

    Do you realized that when Apollo 11 was suppose to be on route to the moon there was a major solar flar that would have fried the unprotected Apollo capsule with radiation. Yet the capsule at the Smithsonian is undamaged.

    I knew there had to be at least one whack-job that would come out of the woodwork and claim it never happened and it was staged.

    Jim, you win the prize.
