Is there any doubt now that Obama is an incompetent President?

It is about time we stopped our involvement in the affairs of other countries . Move everyone out and stop the free handouts which are costing this country a fortune . Close our boarders and the hell with the rest of the world . If you want to travel and take your life in others hands than thats your problem , there is enough here in this country to keep us all happy .

Would this have happened if Reagan was President?

The political correctness and appeasement by our ass kisser in chief has come home to roost.

America is now viewed as a weak ineffectual entity, and we can look forward to every jerk in the world taking a shot at us.

    Thanks a lot, Obama.

Remember - if you don't understand that Islam is the "RELIGION OF PEACE" then you are an ignorant bigot.

Here's a glimpse of exactly what that brand of "peace" looks like:

An American ambassador taken to "safety" by the host country and then handed over to Muslim savages who murdered him and then paraded his body through the streets.

And just watch as the Democrat media machine struggles to conceal the fact that these murders were pre-planned as a 911 act of terrorism.

Funded by your tax dollars, by the way.

Jimmy Carter had the Iran crisis and Obama has the Libyian crisis. Their two presidency's have been so similar....4 years and out.

So, how should the US government respond to the attacks on our embassy and consulate and the murder of our diplomates?

Slide Action--What was the "apology" issued by the State Department and when was it issued. I can only find references it but not the actual statement.

    Here you go Traders.....

The U.S. embassy in Cairo released the following statement:

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

Like or not, we have had war declared upon us.

An embassy location is soverign within the county is located in.

You tell that host country you consider this attack greivous and the people responsible for should be brought to justice within a specific time period and if that demand is rejected, or ignored or repeated, you then declare that country as a hostile nation to the United States.

Retaliation should be closing of our embassy, freezing of that country's assests where possible, cutting off aid and get what ever help from allies we can to shut the guilty country off from the world.

Warn this country, we will protect ourselves and our property and then you make good on that promise.

If it escalates then Congress can declare a state of war exists, then you wipe them off the face of the earth.

We could have done this with Iran, (and they did declare a state of war against us in '79 and still exists today), but then like now, we have a major incompetent in charge. Iran knew Reagan would have done exactly this and is the reason they released the hostages after his election.

    Bigdog,

Thanks for the research. From what I have read, the statement was published by the American Embassy in Cairo when the embassy staff believed that there was growing anger about the "movie" and the rumors that is had been produced by the US Government. Apparently it was distributed hours before the Cairo attack started. Is that what you have concluded.

Why is the concern according to the press to find the movie maker? How about finding the cold blooded killers?

And the Marines aren't allowed to have ammo in their rifles! WTF? Reminds me of the dumb@55 policy Clinton had for the Navy when the USS Cole got smoked.

It is unbelievable what politicians do to our service men & women. Put them is the worst 5hitholes on earth and tie both hands behind their backs. Should piss off all true Americans. Democrates seems to be much worse than Republicans on this (their record). Not picking sides.....just say'in.
