1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Smok'n Joe,
If you will sell it for less, I will give you more than the $150 offer.
    Thanks, Alan

    Bart,

This is an all steel Timney Release with a very rare Gold Trigger. It is like
new and functions flawlessly...I'm sorry $150 is only half of what it's worth.

    Alant,

I will consider an offer or a trade. Let me know what you have in mind.

    Bart,

There are several 1100 release triggers available on TS.com in the $200
price range. The least expensive Timney trigger recently sold for $220.
This is an original Alan Timeny all steel trigger assembly. It's like new.
The gold trigger option is extremely rare and worth at least $95.00 alone.

The 1100 and 1187 trigger assemblies are generally interchangeable, however,
it may require some minor tuning to function flawlessly in your gun. I suggest you have Stu Wright install it for you at the Grand. He's the master.

smokin joe, when you mention the reset lever is on the left, what does that mean. I am not familiar with this terminology.
    thanks!

If you look at the picture, there is a lever on the left hand side just before the trigger guard. It looks like a slide release on an 870 trigger. Don't feel bad for asking, I have had many people (that should know better) argue that this is an 870 trigger or a poorly converted 870 trigger!

Alan Timney was a brilliant gun smith. He designed and built these trigger assemblies. The purpose of the RESET lever is to allow the shooter to safely DISARM the weapon. Remember this is a RELEASE TRIGGER, the shooter pulls the trigger to set it and releases the trigger to fire. Should the shooter need to disarm the gun after he has set the trigger, he would push the reset lever with his left hand while holding the trigger with his right finger...once the trigger is reset the shooter can release the trigger without firing the gun and safely remove the shell.

Just imagine trying to do that while holding the trigger!

    You'd need a third arm!

With a break-open gun, it is simple to just push the locking lever and open the gun while the trigger is depressed. Not so with a semi-automatic.
