Well $4.00 Diesel is here! Got off the Freeway yesterday in Ventura CA and there right in front of me was a Gas Station with #2 diesel fuel at $3.99./ gallon.

I hate these bastards as much or more than I hate the banks. They are all nothing but Rip Off artists, and nothing more.

We didn't see fuel this high last time until they jacked the price of Oil up above $140/barrel.It was a $95 earlier today. I am absolutely sick of the banking and oil monopolies in this country, will no one do anything about it?

You remember how congress was going to pass laws so speculators who bought fuel futures had to actually take delivery of the product. Well, that never happened, so here we go again. Last time four of the investment banks were trading those oil futures around in a circle driving up prices. Nobody did anything about it. Now they're doing it again. Oh,,China is using more fuel, F China we better not be selling fuel of any kind to them!

This will trigger a new round of Home Foreclosures too! Mark my words, we are headed for another depression.

I feel so UP today! I'm going out to look over my camping equipment since I'll probably be living in it soon. Luckily all the new lanterns use LEDs and the batteries last forever, so I won't need fuel for my Coleman Lanterns.

Randy, don't you remember back in the spring of 2008 when diesel was $5. a gallon? I do, the commodities buyers are the ones driving the price of crude up.

If we let the government set the standard we would become known as a "socialist" country but someone need's to step in. I'll just have to work more to stay warm, while these bastard's fill thier pocket's, then get taxbreak's because they are the 3%-4% biggest moneymaker's. Gotta love it!

    Thank's, Mike

Well I guess trading my gas powered truck in on a shiny new turbo diesel is out of the question...its bad enough to take on a hefty new payment book..then having to go take a loan just to fill'er up is beyond my budget by a country mile

There is no shortage of crude oil, the price of crude has sky rocketed because of commodities speculators banking on being a disruption of crude coming from the middle east. One way to stop all the bullshit is pass a law specifying you buy into a commodity, you take physical possession of it. You want to invest in oil, metal, grain, pork,or beef then find a way to store it when your purchase arrives at your door.

Diesel is still a good deal in high MPG passenger cars...such as a turbo-diesel Jetta wagon for instance:^)

Toolmaker: That is the exact fix for the problem. They were supposed to do that after the last time this happened, but they got sidetracked on Obanacare instead.

Did they accomplish anything? Well yes they did,,, They made it so the investment banks could run the oil price scam,,, The exact same oil price scam they ran before,,,Again and push us deeper into the recession. And once again make zillions of dollars off the backs of the American Citizen.

    Death by Bonga!

This group in the white house is going to kill this country.

It's all about distractions guys. As soon as they figure out how to fix something then everybody gets distracted by something else. Bait and Switch, shell game, you name it. the idea is nothing gets done, because there is still money to be ripped off here at home.

With Obana's new COS as the Ex CEO of JPMorgan/Chase is a pretty done deal there will be no financial reform for at least another 2 years. By then we'll all be in the poor house and not able to afford to shoot trap anymore.

Maybe we should save a few flats for that live pigeon shoot we've been talking about.

If Saudi Arabia goes down, we will be longing for the good old days of $4.00 per gallon diesel. Of course the Barney Frankers will still be squealing about "speculators".

Commodities go up when the dollar goes down. The dollar I believe is going to loose the world currency ranking. Physical gold and silver will be the thing to own in the next 2 years.

Cost me $91 to fill the F250 today. That damn Bush and his Texas oil cronies. We gave em the boot over 2 years ago and they are still running and ruining things for us. Even the chosen one, the Mesiah, our great President can't stop em.

I bet the CEO of Exxon is paying Muammar al-Qaddafi to threaten to blow up his wells.

I hold 105 gallons of diesel and can go about 1800 miles before I need to hit a station. It is going to be expensive!!

Hope for the price to go down by the time that I'll needto fill her up.
