with the help from tom urich, i developed a 20ga beretta 393 (303 receiver w/a 390 barrel) 30in sport model, parallel comb and castoff built into the comb -- for you beretta lovers, this gun feels and points great POI 55/45( a lil under 60%)-and you ask "why did i did this"--cuz i can and i love projects!! -- wally riebesell

That's sweet, Wally. I have gone the other way a lot of times: 390 receiver and 303 barrels.

Is this a 12 ga gun? If it's a 20ga this must be the only 30' barrel on the planet.Just curious

You are the Beretta guru, I imagine you got all of them. Let me know if and when you want to part with it. Besides, it should go TTT anyway.

When I grow up, I want to be just like you!
That came out very classy with that bright blued barrel. Did you have that matte barrel reblued or find a different barrel?

Your smith must just grin (or cringe) every time you show up.

My hats off to you for completing a very sweet project.
    Tom

#1 change the mag tube end that has threads (what the piston slides on) #2 trim action bar 1/16in #3 get 390 gas spring and washer + 390 mag cap(both are same as 12ga) #4 390 20ga foreend --note 20ga 303 gas piston works in 390 gas lug fitting on barrel! -wally

Wally that is one sweet gun with the 30 inch barrel in 20 gage you have a keeper. I must award you with a best of the best for 303 projects . It will be hard to surpass this gun.
