391 magazine problem

    391 magazine is not leaving the shell up inside- as you push the shell in to the magazine, it will follow your thumb out and endup on the carrier. the shell will cycle but the gun has not done this before???? HELP PLEASE

    Check the Carrier Stop Push Button. It may be sticking.

    This little black button is located at the rear of the magazine loading port just in front of the trigger guard on the bottom of the receiver.

    If the button is sticking, remove the trigger assembly and find out why. It may be dirty or need lubrication. Or there may be something fouling it. Or the spring that powers it may be broken. Lots of possibilities. Check it out.
