391 carriers. I've recently had a few jams when the first hull is trapped by the 2nd shell that is being fed into the breech..first hull is about 1/2 out of the receiver, but is trapped. Gun cleaned and lubed properly. I have a straight carrier, and have heard that jamming can be an issue. Are the bent carriers manufactured or are they bent by the 'smith? Could there be another reason for this problem? 1 oz 1175 fps load with AA hulls that I've been shooting in this gun without a single jam for the past 6 months. These jams happened while shooting at our 5-stand. Maybe I wasn't properly shouldering the gun. Any thoughts on this and suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Get a 303 trigger - the carrier is a better one

You can order a 390 carrier from Coles. I've heard of people
putting a bend in the straight carrier with mixed results.
Probably better to bite the bullet and buy a new one.
    Beretta screwed up.

While some people have 391's with the straight carrier and have no problems, it's only because they don't always go bad immediately, but eventually they
will. Mine actually lasted several thousand rounds.

There is no one who shoots the 391 in competition that hasn't already replaced the carrier.

I'll contact Coles and see if they are still available.

    Thanks for the comments.
