My fix for the 3200 forearm was to disconnect the eject mechanism so that the spent shells were extracted but not flung over the shoulder which is the source of stress. I just disconnected at the forearm eject springs but I'm told others will removed the cocking rods in the receiver which accomplishes the same thing. Any skilled smith should be able to do either withing 15/20 minutes......breakemall

Jerry, old buddy. I am going to mail you a publication I got from Laib's. It shows both updates and other neat information. Bill Malcolm

    Hey Guys,

Laib's told me that removing the springs from the forearm would not fix the problem nor would it stop the cracks?
