3200 up date

    What was the up date on a 3200, and how can you tell if they are done? thanks Butch H

    If you look on the bottom of the reciever and in between the number you will see a dot (.) This means that the gun has had a Factory update done .

    Also, look into the inside of the receiver face. Down on the bottom, (below the firing pins) you will note two screw heads that resemble an allen screw head. If these are present along with the dot between the serial # and the OU designation you can feel safe that the updates are done. (i.e. XXXX.OU ) Ed

    There is also an update on the fore end iron. This is designed to stop the fore end wood from cracking. Pat Laib does this and last time I checked, he charged $145.00 to do it. He is considered to be the top 3200 gunsmith. Bill Malcolm
