1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

UPDATES NOT DONE- This SEVERELY lowers the value of your gun. The upgrades cost at least $500 to have done now, so you can knock at least that amt right off the top.

FOREARM CRACKED- Also lowers the value, as solid good condition 3200 wood is very difficult to find, and expensive when you do (since these guns ate stocks and forends).

I would say $700 would be closer to a reasonable selling price.

I have a 3200 without up dates, todate have shot over 26,000 registered pita targets with this gun, could be a good chance the gun does not need updates. may be a good value at 1000. Loyd

Most guns aren't even broken in @ 26k targets.

The guns did need the update, otherwise Remington would have never offered them (for free at the time).

A low volume or weekend/club shooter may be able to get away w/ out updates, but if its going to be used for high volume competition, you're going to have to have it done eventually, and the consequences of not having it done are significant (meaning extensive repairs or complete replacement of the receiver).

I personally wouldn't touch an non-updated 3200 w/ a 10ft pole unless it could be had for dirt cheap...

Do you really think a high volume shooter like yourself, would need to buy a $1000. trap gun. In order to shoot 26,ooo registered targets, I shot three times that in practice. thats about 100,000 targets, not bad for a 800.00 non upgrade 3200. bet a kolar would cost a lot more. Not all the guns built had defects,as not all toyotas have stuck gas pedels.

    Mission6222,
If the gun you shot with is valued by you at $800 without the updates done, why do you value this one at $1000? Even though, not all Toyotas had stuck gas pedals, not all Toyotas were recalled. All 3200 were recalled because of the possible damage if not updated. 3200 with the updates done can be had for around $1000 on this site and I have seen them even sell for less on other sites.
I hope it sells it is still a nice gun and I own one like it. Dess
