    Brian,

    2 years ago I started shooting trap with a 34" barrel. I recently changed to a MX-14 with a 32" barrel. Maybe it's just me but I don't notice a difference.

Some little dogs prefer 34" in single barrels & 32" in stack barrels.

I've shot both. I rest the barrel on my foot so the biggest difference is that the chamber on the 34" barrel is 2" higher when putting in the shells.

Some people think that the longer sighting plane makes a difference but with a shotgun it would be so minimal you couldn't tell the difference. IMHO

    P.S. Make that 3". I use a extended choke.

A matter of choice. I have both shoot equally bad with both.

The 34" is cheating because it has a two inch closer to target advantage and with a extended choke tube, down right unfair.

Anything over 32" in a single barrel is excess weight... So is anything over 30" in an O/U. John

K is exporting to US only 32" O/U, and 34" unsingle. But what do they know?
