Was there ever a step rib trap barrel made for the Beretta 303? And, will 390 barrels fit a 303 (with or without modifications)??? Thanks. John

No,Beretta did not make a step rib barrel for a 303.
Yes, you can put a 390 step rib barrel on a 303 with some mods.
I have done several, it is a lot of work but it can be done.
The 390 barrel lug is .240 closer to the chamber.
By shorting the action slide bar .120 and the piston .120.it will go on the gun and the bolt will lock up.
Then you need a spacer .240 long to go on over the magazine stud to allow the forarm to fit properly. The spacer need to be large enough in diameter to cover the (4) four port holes on the front of the 390 lug. The gun will then function.
