Would a 30" step rib set of barrels work ok on my daughters 682 gold e for sporting clays? She is only 14 and has just started shooting Sporting Clays.

She will adapt to whatever she's shooting.

I've used a set of step rib barrels before on the sporting clays course and they worked ok. The only draw back I can see is the up close and personal shots with a quick window can be a little tricky do to the increased weight of the barrels.

The best barrel for me is the old Perazzi step rib.. or the Krieghoff step rib.. The flat works well too.. The main thing is to check the POI.

I also like a small step rib. It just seams to fit my style of shooting better.
