1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have 750 rounds of 22 WRF in the original boxes from a special run in 1986.

You guys do realize this is WRF, NOT Long Rifle or Magnum. Its not your run of the mill .22 ammo.

Our Sportsman Warehouse has them for $10.99 a box of 50. Their website has them for $11.99-they are made by CCI. I purchase them often since I have a Colt Police Positive chambered in that round. And yes this is .22WRF.

Sportmans Warehouse website says "temporarily sold out" for both CCI and Winchester 22 WRF.

Is a brick now 250 shots? I always thought and bought it at 500 rds. for a brick.

If the asking price includes shipping $210.00 is a very good price. Without shipping 210.00 is a fair price.

What makes them so special ..? This is a serious question, so if anyone knows I would appreciate you posting it ... The last Federal 525 packs I bought at WalMart were $23.97, was told they went up to $25.97 if you get there when they got them ... I don't need any more for now, got a few on hand in just in case ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

WPT, They are NOT 22 LR. They are Winchester Rim Fire rounds. I have 2 boxes of Winchester WRF left out of a brick of 500, They are 8.95/50 + tax.

    WPT,

22WRF is similar to 22WMR only slightly shorter. They're slightly bigger @ .224 instead of the 22lr .222 and the bullet isn't heeled so the case is slightly bigger around as well as longer. You can shoot 'em in a 22 magnum chamber somewhat like 38 specials in a 357 magnum. $210 for 750 rounds isn't a bad price, really.

Got cha thanks, not sure what I was thinking ... I kept looking at them and wondering what made them so special, guess I wasn't paying attention ... I have several boxes of .22 mags and mini mags I bought at a garage sale a few years ago, keep meaning to buy a .22 mag Pistol or Rifle to shoot them in, oh well one of these days ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Given the huge demand and backorders for .22LR and even .22 mag, I doubt we will see much new .22WRF for awhile. So I think the asking price is reasonable and probably one of the few times you will see this ammo for sale.
