Our club received some 3.5 dram 7/8 oz. ammo from the NRA for our kids team to use. What is the recoil situation with these shells? The are made by Sellitier Barrett(not sure of spelling).
    Thanks,
    Dean Spiridon

Sounds like an international load. Sellier & Bellot is a good shell but will probably have more recoil than kids need to put up with to shoot for 16 yard targets. Have the kids shoot some and see what they think.

Be sure you are wearing a Jock Strap before you shoot those shells. LOL Break-em all. Jeff

The above people are correct, those shells are mule kickers, good for long distance target presentations for sporting clays, but I would not want to shoot them even with a bump buster on my gun. Do the kids a favor, see if a sporting clays guy will trade some 2-3/4 dram trap shells for them.
