Health and future plans have us willing to sell our prized 5th wheel, 2006 HitchHiker II LS, model 28.5 RLBG, with queen bed in a slider, closet across the nose, sofa and dining table slide in living area, two rockers, surround sound, TV, DVD, 16' awning, see-through basement, ducted heat and air, and other "stuff." MSRP was $48, 498 in '06. Currently on a consignment lot with exclusive rights to sell through March. Located in Eugene, Oregon.

Unloaded Wt., 8906 lbs; Net Carrying capacity 3894 lbs; E rated tires, two axles, brushed alum. wheels.

Until end of March likely would need $35,000 maybe less after exclusive right to sell expires.

Photos will follow if any interest.

Here's a couple of picts. Trailer is an actual 30' - 1" length. Purchased new in July '06 and stored since Sept. '07 since medical needs required.

Dennis, thanks for the words. The arm surgeries may be making my life better? but it's certainlly going to cost me last year and this year of any serious competition - maybe will become one of those 100 bird a day guys. We'll see.

Tommie, interior photos will be forthcoming.

To all: The main 'puter decided to go to sleep permanently right after posting the ext. photos. I'm stuck jury rigging an ancient lap top long enough to look at this thread once a day - hopefully. Be patient if you have any interest. Home #= 5416076587 if really interested.....Bob Dodd

Here's some interior shots. Not wide angle enough but you'll get the idea.

    Bob,

Good luck in selling your 5th Wheel. I just got mine sold last sunday. I took a beating with the price but it's a depressed market right now. If your prepaired to wait it out then you'll do better. Got your email btw, will get a reply out to you this evening. I've been really busy doing nothing.

Good to hear fromya Bama. What method got yours to go? I've got lotsa lookers at mine on the consignment lot but most are looking for bigger or smaller. I always felt 30' was a great compromise for towing, weight, maneuverability and living space. This area is a magnet for the western 1/2 of the country for RV sales because of many, many local retailers and manufacturers. I know it will go this spring but wanted to see if a trapshooter might be interested first. In a little over 2 weeks, I'll be able to sell it without the "exclusive right" of the lot owner and someone interested could make a really sharp deal.

Bama, retirement generally finds you wondering how you ever had time to work. You'll know what I mean when you get there. I'll await your good words....breakemall....Bob Dodd

At the end of your consignment, go to the NU-WA website, from there go to the owners forum, people are sometimes looking for used ones. The people on the forum know the quality of the unit and it won't take long to sell. I have a 06 29.5 HHII and we love it.
