Win one of these great Winchester, Pony Express Commemorative Trophy Bowie Knives at the North Hollywood ATA, November 10th. We will be offering 100 Single and 100 Handicap tragets using all three fields in a 100 per field format. All Singles Class winners and Handicap Yardage winners will receive a trophy knife. These come with the ballistic material sheaf as shown in a metal presentation box.

ALSO, we are running a special First 100 Straight(s) Jackpot on our new Field 3. It is a $10.00 buy-in and we are starting the pot with $100.00! Winner(s) take all. I expect at least 15 shooters to buy in and if so, we'll have a $250.00 Bounty Pot. We had 4 guys shoot 99s last month, close but no cigar!

If you haven't shot a North Hollywood Sportsman's Club ATA at our Santa Clarita Clay Target Sports Park, you are in for a pleasant surprise. We have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, throw great targets and offer a good lunch. Come out and join us.

PS. For you Kern County Gun Club guys, we are only about an hour from the 99 and the 119.

Close but no cigar? Damn right no cigar ... your in the socialist republic known as Kalifornia where the tax on cigars can only be afforded by the rich and famous.

BTW ... what kind of cigar were they close to getting?

The Winchester knives I have seen are all stamped Made in China. I recently was ready to purchase a Remington pocket knife (in the Rem. tin box) and it too was a made in China piece of junk.

Actually they are made in the USA. It's an Island off the China Coast they named USA. Is this true? I'm not for sure, but it was told to me by a local merchant who was selling leather jackets made in the USA.

The island is Kyushu Island, and it is part of Japan. The City is Usa, Japan, not China. Following WWII there were a lot of goods stamped "Made in USA" that came from there. I'm not sure if they still do it, but the City is still there.
