If my heirs continued to receive the money, and I deemed them worthy, I would go for the whole wad.

Taxes will take more with the lump sum. I would still take the lump sum unless I was under 50.

Always take the upfront money, never never never take the 20 year that the Gov wants you to take.

Chances are they will never pay the 20 years out with this government and economy.

Take the 241mil, pay the taxes on it and thendo the following,
Keep 5% in cash, keep 5% in gold or silver and make shure that you have the gold or silver in your hands,
Pay off all of your bills.
take 5% and buy what you want, take 5% and give it to whomever you want,
invest the rest for dividends. Tell all of your friends that you have or give that this is a one time shot , that you have invested the money and can not get to it for 10 years.

Go on a long vacation for a year so every one will forget about you .

Good luck with your good fortune.

Set up a trust and have your lawyer to claim the prize. Don't show your face. Regardless how you want to take it.
