I'm fitting a new firing pin in an older .22 caliber rifle. What is the standard dimension for the firing pin stick-out?

    Thank you,

You mean protrusion? I believe between .030" and .040" is standard. Hope this helps, Josh.

    Rimfire or centerfire?

Centerfire is .055 desired from the bolt face.
