Easy question, what's a good 20 gauge choke for a smaller shooter from 16yd? Is IM enough or need FULL for 20ga?

    Thanks

When I 1st started I used a 28" Mod. in 20ga. with 7\8oz of #8, can't remember for sure but don't think I ever broke 25 st. many 24s though. So your IM should be just fine. Ross Puls

IM is adequate for 7/8 ounce of #8. I like Full for 1 ounce of #7.5 and that's the same pellet count. What matters is pattern density at the distance you'll break the target and that's a function of pellet count and choke. There's no practical difference whether the pellets started out in a 20ga shell, a 16ga shell or a 12ga shell.

Why NOT go with a full choke?

I'd get a mod,im,and full and find out which one my gun patterned better. If I was only ordering one, it would be a full.

Wouldn't the same chokes as those for a bigger shooter work?

Alright thanks guys. I'll skip the Full for now and just get it later if I need it. Thanks
