Is this a registered ATA shoot or a PITA shoot?

This is a PITA shoot with cross-registration for ATA.

No cost for first timers to join PITA.

The Pocatello club will pay the cost to cross-register scores with ATA.

As a member of the Idaho Falls Skyline club as well as the Pocatello club, I too want to encourage everyone to participate in the Skyline trap shoot this Saturday, August 3.

I am looking forward to shooting in the tournament this coming Saturday and am sure that there will be others from Pocatello there too.

I shot some practice trap at Idaho Falls Skyline just this past Saturday.

Hope the Idaho Falls people can join us in Pocatello next week - Thursday through Sunday - August 8 - 11.

Remember that all the targets at the Pocatello tournament can be registered with the ATA at no additional cost to the shooter.

    All shooters are welcome !

Bringing the Utah boys up to shoot, always a great time! Looking forward to seeing all my Idaho buddies and meeting some new ones. One week from today I shall be there.

What is the forecast for wind? I think a breeze helps me shoot better!

    Scootermac50,

Certainly looking forward to seeing all our friends from Utah and hoping to meet some new ones.

I shot at the zone shoot in Spanish Fork, Utah, a couple of weekends ago and had a great time.

The extended weather forecast for next week in Pocatello shows winds less than 9 mph for starting day Thursday through the rest of the shoot.

Day time highs in the mid-80s, sunny, and no humidity.

Along the lines that you're thinking, we've come up with what we hope will be a popular device for all trapshooters.

We're installing a meter behind each 27 yard line where you can insert a quarter and dial in the wind "volume" and direction you like.

For example, you can dial in a left quartering tailwind at 5 mph or a direct headwind at 10 mph.

Winds speeds of up to 60 mph are programmable as well as changing directions if you like.

One popular feature is the ability to insert fifty cents and dial in an independent different wind for each of the other shooters on your squad.

Insert a whole dollar and you can dial in an independent different wind for each of the other squads.

Another popular feature is programming the wind to change between the time your fellow shooter jerks his trigger and the time the shot column leaves his barrel.

Minor note... Whoever inserts the last (latest) coin rules and overrides all prior programming.

The program says the club will pay the cross registration fees for OUT OF STATE shooters.

I will personally cover the in-state shooters' ATA fees if the club does not.

And Harley, if you come and shoot I will personally pay for your steak dinner.

Look forward to seeing you at the range.

    All shooters are welcome !

Wait a minute! Hammer, are you buying my steak dinner as well? I need to save all my pennies for trying to buy the local favorite in the Calcutta. I look forward to this shoot all year.

    One steak dinner for Harley.

    One steak dinner for Scootermac50.

And I will buy a steak dinner for anyone who shoots a 100 Straight in Doubles with a 16 gauge Winchester Model 21.

    But that's it.

No more steak dinners on Hammer.

Look forward to seeing all of y'all at the Pocatello shoot.

Hammer, I'll buy you a steak dinner. That way things come around full circle. Then I'll Have John B. buy mine. It's a win/win that way.

Now, if that John B. is John Berthelson...

Then steak alone will not do.

He will need a double order of brochette shrimp flown in from Pappasitos in Texas.

Thanks for the steak dinner Hammer! I had a blast at this shoot and plan to come back every chance I get. Thank you to the Pocatello trap club as well! The shoot was run very well and the targets were great. I met some new friends in the process and some great shooters. See you all in Vernal for the Western Grand!
