    Bill...

Yep, July 14 - 18 at Birchwood Recreation and SHooting Park in Chugiak.

There's a decent hotel in Eagle River, about 15 minutes from the shoot, and Anchorage has all the major chains. It's about 30, 40 minutes from the shoot - an easy drive back and forth each day.

Feel free to email me at jpokorny@cookinlethousing.org for more details, info, whatever you need...

Lots of (most, in fact) major airlines come into Anchorage. Alaska Air comes up almost every hour from Seattle, if you can get there.

In the summer, non-stops are available from lots of major cities...Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver.

Tie the shoot into some Kenai River Sockeye and some Halibut fishing out of Homer (seaflight sportfishing link above) or Seward, and you WILL have a blast!-

Otnot will cook you up some Salmon (or ribeyes) at the club too....- Frank

Thanks folks. What we are looking into is shooting the Canadian Championship in Vancouver then doing the Alaskan cruise and then shooting the Alaska State Shoot. The Canadian is June 30 to July 4. We are looking into putting a package together with a travel agent that I know, so I need the dates, etc. Bill Malcolm

wow...bill, that sounds like an awesome trip.

if you get done in Canada on the 4th...the cruise would get you into Anchorage about the 11th. Couple of days sightseeing/fishing and you'd be ready to start with us on the 14th.

Email me...I can help you with itineraries and hotels, restaurants, charters, etc etc etc

Thanks Jeff. I spoke with Jim Wood, who is on the Canadian Trapshooting Association board, on Monday. There is a good chance that a bunch of us will be coming from Ontario and east with this plan in mind. We are going to put a package together and offer it to anyone that is interested. I supplied the information to the travel agent this morning and I expect her to get back to me in the next few days with some options. I will keep in touch with you to let you know how things are progressing. Thanks again, Bill Malcolm
