Keith Ditto averaged 99.74 in handicap, that has to be some kind of record. No one has ever come close to that.

That was in singles, not handicap. Re-read the post.

I am not sure what made me look at this post, considering I have never been to the state of Kentucky, but I did. Now I am really intrigued and have a question for Keith Ditto, whom I have never met and not sure if he even reads posts on TS. I looked up your averages, and see an incredible change between 2002 and 2003, and was wondering what occured to mark such an improvement, and one you have maintained since? I am curious if it was gun fit, physical, training, or what caused it? I understand if you would rather not say, but I am sincerely interested.

We in North Carolina had the privilege of getting to know Kevin Parrott while he was in pre-med at Duke University in Durham. An outstanding student athlete, and
as nice and respectful young man as you will ever meet.
    Congratulations to him.

My congratulations to all of the KY shooters taht made the All-State team, they are very deserving. Too bad they don't have a category for poor shots so that I can make the team.
Regarding Keith, he shoots an MX 8 over/under for everything. Keith told me tried the gun out and it shot well. I don't believe he has ever checked the chokes . Besides being a great shot, he is a really good guy.
Kevin is now in his 3rd year of medical school. He is an outstanding young man and will make an excellent physician.
Jordan Foley just shot lights out this year. He is fine young man and , we at Blue Grass Traps are very proud of him. Now if I can figure out how to beat him???.

I do not know Keith Ditto very well, but have talked to him a couple of times. A very nice and humble person. Regular job, family and does indeed shoot lights out. After watching him run the 200 singles and the 100 doubles, I asked him what type of gun he shot and the chokes. He said he just liked the looks of the gun, bought it and shot it. Did not have a clue what the poi was or what it was choked ( fixed ). I wish I had just some of his talent.
I moved here from WI and shoot mainly at Central and BlueGrass traps. This is one tough place to win at. Like Eddie said, if the Woos guy is on the bubble, that says something. Congrats to all the state team selections.
God willing and the creeks don't rise, we will all be there when the warm weather rolls around. Nubs Wagner.
ps. Hey charlie, I think you need to look down the barrel a little longer and get that sight picture nailed. That must be the problem .............lol!!!

Sure would not want to meet Keith Ditto in a dark alley with his trap guns. Good shooting in a State with tough competition. Joe McGorman

Charlie, The average books are not out. The Delegates get a print out of all the shooters to do the State Teams in Dec.

    Terry ,
Do you get all the states average? I just wondered where Keith and Kevin ended up on the national scene. I see where my 89 in caps and doubles were pretty far down on the list.
