Wouldn't you know it? The North Carolina State Shoot is the same week. We were planning to attend this year - maybe 2009.

Larry was quite the tourist on his visit. Think he saw more of the island than some that live here. Funny, no pics from his surfing lesson & THANK GOD none of the local shooters. That might scare off potential visitors.

Judging by him standing on post 3. Direction he pointing down range. Angle he pointing up. Head winds that day between 25-30mph. I venture a guess, it be a rapidly rising stright away.

The guy was shooting singles! The wind coming off the mountain tends to push the targets up a bit at times. erm

I used to live in Makakilo what a place sorry I ever had to leave. Never did any shooting there played a lot of softball and basketball though and saw quite a few pro bowls and bands at Aloha Stadium. I'm actually a Rainbow Warrior alum. Break em all ...

YES, the wind was blowing. Richard M. did not run the 16's that day. Nice place to shoot and very nice people there. Larry
