I was looking at the Alliant recipes and stumbled on theis recipe for a 12 ga load 1-1/8 OZ low pressure load

    Is it correct ?

It just seems as though the pressure Vs fps would be a very low recoiling load.....

Pressure does not enter into the recoil formula. The weight of the ejecta (shot, wad, powder gases) and muzzle velocity drive recoil.

I have a few one pounders of that laying around the reloading room. Might load up a few and feel how they shoot. Who knows at singles distances?
