I recently came into possession of a large quantity of once fired, mint condition "FEDERAL GOLD MEDEL " Hulls from the 1976 Grand, w/Liberty Bell stamped on the side of the hull in gold.

My Question: What Federal Wad was used in these hull's?

If I could find the "Art Work" for the Box I would reproduce it for display and gift's only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only difference in the box, from the regular Champion 11s was the word BICENTENNIAL printed just above the charge indication on the lid.
They used a wad like the 12C-1 except it had a black base.

I stand corrected, I ASSUMED these were GOLD MEDAL hulls.

It is not so stated on the Brass, The Brass stamp says: "12 FEDERAL Ga. CARTRIDGE".
All other information is as stated.

    Sorry for the Mis-statment.

The Champion II was Federals attempt to emulate the AA. they were pretty good hulls, and I loaded many.

Almost translucent maroon color, gold hot stamping, and a tapered case that works fine with AA or STS components. ifferent batches were somewhat varying in lighter or darker.

    Very pretty.

I have a rack of various year hulls from the Grand. I do not have any 1976. Since you intend to reload them anyway, the 1976 stamp is not important to you. Is there any way I can talk you out of a couple for my collection?

    Thank you,
