I saw a unique 1972 Bt-99 for sale at the Illinois State Shoot.

The receiver and barrel were engraved. It had gold birds on the sides of the receiver and a gold ATA logo on the bottom.

It had a competition forend (on a '72?) and Monte Carlo stock. The wood was nice, not the standard Phillipine Walnut in most BT's of that era.

It was unlike any BT-99 I've ever seen.

Did some individual "make" this gun? Was it a limited run? Special order Custom Shop piece?

Who know what this is? Enlighten me.

Someone dolled it up somewhere along the line.

It was a limited run! I have seen them before. Bulge.
