I've obtained this US Navy Spyglass, It's a Fee and Stemwedel dated 1942. Does anyone have any info on these? Thanks. Mike.

This might sound funny, but they had one(case and all) on the TV show "Pawn Stars" that someone was trying to sell. They took it to an expert to have it appraised and to get some more information on it. If i remember correctly, unless it can be proven with documents to be removed from a "famous" WWII ship they are worth maybe $150 or less depending on condition and the buyer. I could be a little off on the value but it was in that ballpark.

Edit: There are many for sale on the internet with asking prices of various levels. Do a Google search for "WWII Navy Spyglass". EBAY also has several for sale.
