Pretty wood!!! I have a question though. When I look at the blanks with the outline of the stock drawn on them, it looks to me that the blanks are cut to small. There wouldn't be enough room to put much of a monte carlo (without using adjustable hardware) or put enough pistol grip to extend past the fingers. Does it just appear to look like that and the blanks are really large enough to put as much monte carlo or grip as needed?? Or, does someone have to order a blank cut extra large??

Gordy, just curious, can you get your hands on any of this wood? Black and White Ebony?

Yes, that Mexican Cocobolo, when it has deep tones and hard colored feathering can be very striking.
Snakewood would be at the top of my list, but finding a piece big and stable enough to make a stock from would not only cost me my retirement, but take someone forever to find.
Black and White Ebony, Striped Black Gaboon, Macassar Ebony, nicely feathered Ziricote would be others I would like to have a stock made from in my lifetime.

Gordy, you have a Bastogne Walnut I've been eyeing for quite some time. I used my "digital stockmaker" to see what it would look like on my BT100. Kinda like it. Different looking.
