Good for you, 23+ for me. I have COPD and live on my puffers. A friend has just found out he has cancer of the toung/throat, he chewd for years. When I see these young kids smoking and chewing I would like to slap them. Some day they will learn.

Congratulations to both of you. For me it's been 6 years,3 weeks of no smoking. Smoked for 50 years. Quit "cold turkey" after a stroke. Non filtered Camels were .25/pack. Best thing about it was both my kids quit smoking shortly thereafter. Larry Evans

Thanks to one and all and keep up the good work for all the others. As for those who are still chewing. Go talk to your dentist and ask him to show the pic's of chewers. He has some really nice pic's for you to look at.

I used the patch to quiet. My hat off to any one who went cold turkey. I was 3 packs aday when not busy and 2 if busy. I quiet just short of $2.00 a pack.

A big pat on the back, everyone. It's been 24+ for smokes, and 20 for chaw terbakky for me. I have to admit, I still crave a Lucky Strike every now and then, but not for long!

Great for all of you. Been 13 years for me. Smoked 3 pks. a day. Quit cold turkey. I still get the urge for about 3 seconds. But would never do it. I just hate to see these young kids today. Especially the cost now days. Wild Bill

My best wishes for anyone who can win the fight against tobacco. I have done only a few smart things in my 64 years, but near the top 1s "not smoking since 12-14-1979"

I couldn't drink without smoking so I quit drinking on 2 March 1988 and quit smoking the next day. It's wasn't easy but well worth the effort.

6 months for me, but I still like a good drink of whisky. Right out of the bottle. Calms my nerves. Makes my swing smoother too. Now if I could just get in front of the target.
