Book says discontinued 1980, no extra value over other guages.

Is there any premium on these in the market? I don't see many of them around but that does not mean they are rare or extra value.

    Comments appreciated.

Hmmm, a 16 ga that weighs as much, or more than a 12 ga, I know I'd pay a premium for that.

Remington was making new 16 ga. 1100s and 870s just a couple years, so they aren't that rare.

The last run of 16ga 1100's did not have any scroll work on the reciever and had screw in chokes , price? About the sames as current 1100's. Now the old ones from the 60' and 70's is a different story. Most were plain barrel's. Just the 16ga barrel only with a vent rib, fixed choke will bring around $350 by itself. When a very nice example of the old 16 comes up for sale they bring around $800.00 Jeff
