1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Edwin D,

I saw your post expressing your wanting to buy a Browning 525 16 gauge in "pristine" condition in 30" or 32" barrel length.

I have one...never fired, assembled only once, 30" barrels, factory box and carton.

Please call...evenings are best. My number(s) are 207-442-9769 or 207-350-1406.

I live in Bath, Maine and I am a great believer in face-to-face transactions.
If distances are not too great, I'm able to deliver the gun.

    Cheers,

I guess I'm not paying attention to new guns. I had no idea Browning made such a gun.

They are a kinda' of a limited production run and uncataloged. If my memory serves they were furnished with 32" barrels, 30" barrels(225 built), and 28" barrels(50 built).

    BIGDOG1,

I have no idea how many were produced.

    I just want ONE.

I just wanted one to shoot "sporting clays".

    I am NOT a collector; I am a SHOOTER!!

I shoot sporting clays and skeet with my citori gradeIII feather weight 16. Had it for almost 20 yrs. Have all the chokes. Sent it to briley several yrs ago and had them make a full length set of titanium inserts in 28ga. I have a ball with it.
By the way I shoot a mod.12 16ga. on trap quite often. It don't seem to hold me back on scores any.
If you plan to shoot it often then you better plan on reloading and saving what ever you can on empties. Wild Bill

It is most definitely a reloader's gauge these days.

Unique, and one ounce of Magnum in your favorite size at 1220-1250, and you have what may be the perfect Upland Game Shotgun.

Treat the gun to Briley or Angle Port extended chokes in your favorite constrictions (IC, LM and IMOD?), and you are good to go.

You can get Briley choke tubes for it but I don't believe Angleport makes 16 gauge choke tubes. Trulock makes 16 gauge choke tubes for the Brownings. Have four of the 16 gauge Citori's (2 Lightning Feathers, a Grade III and a Gran Lightning.
