Kudos to Cade Miller of Eugene, OR who made the fence at a well attended shoot in Klamath Falls, OR. The shoot was Aug. 15, 16, and 17 and he, on the 16th, posted a 97 to make that last step from 26 yards to 27 at the age of 13 years and 2 months. If that wasn't good enough, he shot a 98 from his new yardage on the 17th. I'm told that is a record setting earliest age to make the 27 yard line in the PITA and I'm unaware of the ATA records but he didn't cross register anyway. This is the same young man that managed 100 straight in a handicap event, albeit fairly short yardage, in Medford, OR a couple of years ago; or was it three. Do we all wish for young eyes and reactions?.....breakemall.....Bob Dodd

    That is some great shooting.

youngest ATA to reach the 27 yard line is Richard E. Macintosh on March 15, 1997. He was 11 years 9 Months and 22 days old.

This info is from a Trap & Field magazine.
