There is a nice set of factory maple skeet wood on Gunbroker that I am interested in. The ad says it came from an SA model.

Does anyone know what factory dimensions were on the SA model? I am looking to replace my factory straight trap stock.

    Thanks

    Joe

This stock is field dimensions, same as a skeet stock. It came off a field grade remington 1187 (limited run made by remington).

Thanks skeet man. I guess I will pass on it. I wish it were a trap stock, it sure is pretty.

I know how you feel. I'm a huge fan of maple as well. And as maple goes, even that would rank way toward the low end grade wise.

The last maple set I purchased came off a Remington 1187 but the forearm was cut for a light contour barrel. It took a little work to open up the barrel barrel channel. Good luck.
