Anyone know a good shell catcher for this gun? What about the piano wire trick? Who does that modification? Seems slick. you can remove it if you want. Any info would be great. Don't want to chase hulls anymore. This gun ejects them about 15'....
    Thanks

T and S makes one that snaps on. I have used mine several times. Gamaliel sells them. Bill Parson Jr.

As I recall , the t&s shell catcher sells for $10---send me $8 and I'll send you an unused one for 410 & 28 ga.
    regards

When the Birchwood-Casey shell catcher was the Mrs. C.C. Petersen (Peterson?) shell catcher, they were available for 20, 28, and .410 1100s. The only difference was the size and shape of the wire catchers.

You might be able to bend the 12 gauge wire to suit your needs, or maybe you could just make your own 28 gauge wire.

    I'd call the Birchwood-Casey catcher a semi-permanent installation.

Take the O ring off. The gun will still function fine, and toss the hulls two or three feet. Remington put two gas ports in those barrels, when they probably only needed one.
