Looking for a 1100 LT youth gun for my wife and found one, except it has a deer hunting barrel. Does the 1100 LT youth fit any 1100 barrel or does only an LT type fit?

The LT-20 is built on the same receiver as the 28ga and 410.
The LT-20 is different from the earlier LW-20, which is also built on the above receiver. The LW-20 barrels have a short barrel extension )"tang"), whereas the LT-20 has a long extension. This long extension required the rear of the ejection port to swoop up a little for clearance for the ejected shell. You're not likely to run into many LW-20 barrels, but this is something to make sure of when purchasing a barrel.
Cabelas has two vent rib 1100 LT-20 barrels. The 26" is on sale for $199.99. These will definitely fit the LT-20 Youth Model. The difference in weight between the 21" barrel and 26" barrel is about 1/4 lb. An adult should be able to hold up the 26" or 28" barrel with ease.
BTW, I have a Rem 1187 20ga, which dimensionally is the same as the LT-20 (though barrels and forends do not interchange). I installed a 12ga monte carlo trap stock on it by trimming down the tenon (the part that inserts into the rear of the receiver). It's also possible to shorten the buttstock as well. This gave me a 7/8ths scale trap gun. I set a similar 1187 trap gun up for my daughter, but I did much more stock work on it.
