I shot a few 3 3/4dr 1 1/4oz outta my COMP barrel on a Trap receiver. It cycled the bolt so fast it would either close on the empty shell (shell catcher installed), kick the shell out through the shell catcher, or kick the shell out through the shell catcher and re-close the bolt.

I dont know if I would recommend it. Prob a lot of premature wear.

My experience was with an 1100 Tournament grade trap gun and it was not good. Forgot about the target load limits and got rid of some duck reloads at a practice shoot. Next week the barrel support that is brazed on mag tube came loose and jammed gun. This also happened to my son's 11-87 Mag. so it may not be relevant to what your asking about in the Comp. model.
