    Something needs adjusting. The forend nut on my 1100 Classic Trap has to be tightened from time to time, but the forend is does not come noticeably loose. Check with a gunsmith who knows 1100s or contact Remington. Ed

    I was told, actually yesterday, that a person can tell the amount of wear that an 1100 has by how wiggly the forend is. Said thats just the way it is. Dave T.

    Get an O-ring and place on the magazine tube and screw the forend cap down upon it and solve the problem of being too loose and loosening up as you shoot.
