Can anyone tell me if the law regarding how the 1099 forms are issued, have been changed? Last year at the grand I won the lewis on several occasion. None of them were more than $120,and I cashed in after every event. I played the lewis on 17 different events. Last week I recieved a 1099 for the sum of $602. I thought you had to win over $600 in one event before you issued a 1099 form.I have never recieve one in the past. Has anyone else had this happen to them???

$600 total from one entity in one year triggers a 1099.

Just ignore the 1099, the IRS doesn't care about them.
