Anyone using these loads from 16 yards using 1 1/8 oz? Reloading data is available for these loads but I never have used them. Most of the loads I use are 1145. Let me know.

    I tried some 1 & 7/8 @ 1050. No bloopers, they leave a lot of powder fouling.
They is a detectable lag to target as compared to my usual 1200fps.

They seem to recoil about 1/3 less that most loads also.

I have not yet determined if I like them or not, but they would be what I will use for my wife if I get talk her into trying trap. I might also use them for doubles.

Look at the Hodgdon data for WAALite powder. There are some duplication loads for the factory featherlites. They work, but you may notice they are a bit slower than normal.

longhorn one of my best friends loaded 16 gr promoand 1 ounce and loved it.he thought he was at 16.5 but found his scale off .5gr.after shooting these he did change to hotter primer to get cleaner powder burn.three of the shooters have changed to that load for 16 yd and love it

When loading down to this velocity I would suggest a hot primer such as Fed 209A provided data uses this primer and a deep crimp. I would also look at data using a fast burn rate powder. They'll work if you point them correctly.
