How many here have shot a 100 in both registered trap and skeet. How common of a feat is it.

I've got the trap straight but I will never get the skeet one because I don't shoot skeet much anymore.

I have shot 100s in 12 ga. skeet and 20ga.skeet mainly in the late 60,s and many 100,s in Trap since I switched to trap back in 1971, trap was a lot harder for me to break the 1st 100 straight. Lots of 99,s in Hdcp but no 100,s and I have broken 100,s in Doubles.Bob Roberts

I did in 12 ga and 20 ga in Skeet never did get 28 ga or 410 and 1 registered 100 in Trap (singles) not sure how common it is but it sure felt to me like the Trap 100 took a whole lot more effort on my part to get. Been close a few times on handicaps and doubles but no cigar (YET)

I have several friends who have broken at least one hundred in both games. There are not a lot of places to shoot in NE Mississippi, if you want to shoot without a lot of travel you have to branch out and shoot whatever is available.

It is my belief that most anyone who has learned to shoot either game well, can learn the other with a bit of persistence.

I have broken 100's in all four skeet gauges, 200 Trap singles, 100 Trap doubles, best Skeet doubles 99, best Handicap 98 @ 27yds.

Years ago I thought I'd really accomplished something, by breaking my first 100's, in the same year, but it is fairly common.

Several 100's in trap, 399/400 in skeet. GaryL.

399/400 will win almost any skeet tournament. If you can do that then you should be shooting skeet.

    Paul,
Shot for a lot of years and won lots of stuff, including the State championship, but it got to be more like work than fun. I don't shoot trap quite as well, but there is no pressure and I enjoy it more. Besides, the wife and grandson shoot trap so it's a family thing. GaryL.

I've done it. I think it's pretty common. If you add 100 straight in sporting clays, that is rare.

I'm guessing you could count the 100s in sporting on both hands.

Two national champions that I know of. Gebben Miles had one this year. Brad Kidd Jr. a couple years ago. Tom John about 3 or 4 years ago.
