A big Thank You to all who attended. WOW! Was that a humbling experience. We had a high in the low 40s with 20-30 mph NNW winds w/ gusts that had to have gone over 40. These targets would rival any Sporting Clays course. Springing teal look alikes that increased in speed and rose to 40 ft! Rights that reached peak about 8' out of the house and were smoking over the grass tops w/ that "helpful" tailwind. We watched a target start out as a 1/4 left end up in front of the traphouse of field to our right and only about 30' from the opening. We saw missed targets that did not come down until the next target was already broken and was on the ground. What a hoot.

Total scores in the 20s were common. Teens - Yes. Only 3 scores in the 40s. Rich "Ole" Engen was the marksman of the day w/ a lone 41. Jerry Pierce and Errol Lindsay tied for 2nd w/ 40s and Monte Kloubec and self tied for 3rd w/ 39s.

"MOST" of us had a great time laughing at the futility of trying to hit some of these targets. Thanks again for your patronage. John in Iowa
