Any one have a good 1 oz load formula for Remington RXP hulls.

I haven't shot for 20+ years (caused by a bad sholder) and need something
with good speed & light recoil.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Use current data for STS.I use 15 to 16 gr. by weight with a scale, Rem. primer, TGT or clone pink AA works well also.Ross Puls

Edit-- Sorry I should do better job of proof reading my posts, I am currently loading Promo, you can use same gr. wt. of Red Dot but weigh your drops because Promo takes 2 or 3 sizes SMALLER bushing.

Hal, check the Alliant website, (see above) They list the RXP hull along with the rest of the Remington hulls, with lots of recipes. Mark

Hal I like 17.5 grains of Red Dot or Promo, DRRT12 or original windjammer WJII 1oz wads and a Rem 209 or Nobel sport primer. Any combination will give around 1180 fps and breaks the targets very well without getting beat up.

Winchester 209, 22.5 grains of 452, Winchester white wad, 1 ounce of 7 1/2 is what I used to use. About 1250 - 1260 FPS with very little percieved recoil in my old Franchi. The only hard part of the load is finding 452 anymore. It must be 20 - 25 years since they quit making it.

I also shoot Promo. 17 grains with a pink claybuster and a Cheddite primer gets it done for me. Very little recoil.
