Can someone explain the following 16 yd Singles Option payout ?

    Class Purse (5 classes)

Divided one money every 5 entries,

    High gun each class

I'm not sure I really understand how this works. For the sake of discussion - consider the following scenario:

A class: 10 shooters each paid $10 entry ... for a total kitty of $100

C class: 38 shooters each paid $10 entry ... for a total kitty of $380

    thanks !

If there are 38 entries in C class, there would be payouts to the first 7 finnishers in C class. The amount of each ppayout would be up to management. HMB

There is usually a max number of divisions per purse. If three divisions per class is posted in the program even 200 shooters in the purse would still only pay three groupings, but the total money per division would be much higher than with say 25 entrants. Marc

The standard/typical payout for 1 for 5 is as follows:

    30% - 25% - 20% - 15% - 10%

I have this entire chart (found in the Remington Arms Cashering book) available as a PDF file. It you email me (NO PM's), I'd be happy to send it to you.

Whiz ....... You're answers are usually dead-on, but in this case your answer does not quite fit blusky's question .......

If there were 5 PAYS (or PLACES) ..... your % breakdown would be correct ....

but neither of blusky's scenarios require 5 PAYS ....

    A class: 10 shooters each paid $10 entry ... for a total kitty of $100 ; WOULD REQUIRE 2 PAY-OUTS in A = (Probably 60/40%)

    C class: 38 shooters each paid $10 entry ... for a total kitty of $380 ; WOULD REQUIRE 7 PAY-OUTS in C = (Check the chart for 7 places % breakdown)

Thanks guys - I think I've got a handle on what you are saying.
    It can be rather confusing.
