Can someone please help, I have installed a vacuum gauge in the dash of my 01 F250 pickup truck. Is there a line on the intake manifold that I can tee into? The one that I found has a constant vacuum even when the engine is off.

    Thanks for your help.

There should be a sticker on the radiator support with the emission control vacuum diagram. If you look closely there is color coding for manifold vacuum, ported vacuum and controlled vacuum. Any place that is manifold vacuum would be ok to "T" into.

If the sticker is gone, trace the big hose that goes to the power brake booster. It will go back to a raw manifold vacuum port. There is usually another hose barb on that fitting or one very near it that will be a good place. Good Luck
