BucPride - Better check your math again. Difference on a bag of shot between new and reclaim is $5.50. Not per box of shells. There are 355 1 1/8 oz loads in a 25 pound bag. $5.50 divided by 355 shells per bag = just over 1.54 cents a shot, not 22 cents.
Also, new shot is not $28 dollars a bag, its 28.00 plus tax. Where I live it's 6%. So shot is $29.68 a bag. Difference is $29.68 - $22.50 = $7.18 a bag. So for every 3 bags of reclaim I buy, its like getting an extra bag for free compared to new shot. 4 bags of reclaim $90, 3 bags of New $ 89.04. That is where your savings are. A 16 yard target can't tell the difference between new and reclaim I can assure you.
If the shot belongs to him and he does not have a vendors license. He does not need to charge sales tax. Actually he IS NOT allowed to charge sales tax in this case.

Pucker up and give me a kiss you know where. Are you to stupid to know this little mark ????? is a question mark. No rumors getting started. A guestion is being asked as you yourself pointed out if you have to add tax it's not that good of a deal so once again ????? = question.
I'm done with this thread were taking up this mans thread although it does keep going to the top.
"So the guy selling reclaimed shot isn't charging Tax???" "If not, I find that interesting." It wasn't a question trapman69, it was an implication. Wording is everything and so is punctuation in a forum. If that's not what you meant, fine, but that's not the way it comes out in print.
I buy new remington shot for 30 plus tax ends up 32.10 all together. And I thought it was high but it's been years since I've bought any. So I guess 30 a bag plus tax is ok, I'll pay it!!!
Just wanted to drop a quick note here regarding the reclaimed shot from reclaimelead. I picked up 200 pounds from him at the cardinal center and the quality of the shot was fantastic. The bags I have opened are clean, polished and ready to load. Perfect for 16's an Short yardage Caps.
It doesn't have any salamander parts in it does it? Hehe
