Cabelas has this Jacket on sale.

I am thinking about getting one. I like Cabelas jackets as they usually come in tall sizes which is necesary for my long arms.

Anyone own this jacket and can make comments?

Bought mine last year at full price. Shot all winter with it up here in Upstate NY. Kept me warm & dry, only problem is with the collar falling in between my cheek & the stock. No problem if you fold the corner of the collar under just a bit. That way it still keeps the wind off of your neck and your gun mount is precise every time.

I would say BUY IT!!!

I have one I got on sale. At the sale price it is a bargain. For me it is a great coat. Gives some wind protection but probably not as much as a Goretex coat. Its not so heavy that it restricts your movement. I like the high collar on it. So many coats have a low cut collar which is fine for helping mount the gun but I want a coat that's going to keep me warm. The collar on the Cabelas coat stands up around your neck and can be buttoned so it stays out of the way. Good coat, probably not the warmest on the market but you can always wear layers.
