Roger. Had a great time except for the missed targets. Wonderfully run shoot, camping is first rate and had a great time meeting all my old friends. Keep up the great shoot. By the way. The perch dinner at the restaurant was FANTASTIC. Friday night all you can eat for 9 dollars and it was great. Really fish and not all breading. Motordoc

Don, thanks for your comments regarding the Cardinal Classic following so close to the Grand. The reason that the Cardinal Classic could not be moved back a few weeks is due to the return to school for many of the trap help. I know that the dates for the 2010 Grand have already been announced, however if the 2011 Grand were moved forward a couple of weeks it may accomplish what you are looking for.

Thanks for your comments.

It's our second year at the Cardinal Classic and even with the larger crowd it improved over last year.

We had nearly 2 1/2 inches of rain one night and the next day everything was up and running with any issues. And I couldn't believe it when I saw ground crews filling in potholes on the service road to keep the shooters dry - I've never seen such a level of effort to make things perfect...

I want to thank Cam @Jaquas for the new shotgun and Keith Heeg for the fantastic stockwork - I'm ready for the Buckeye!

Just got back to NC. It was a visit to Ohio to see mom and thought I would run up on Friday to shoot an event. Arrived at 10:15, signed up, shot 94x100 in the last squad of singles and was on the road by 1:45 after making a trip through the facility.

Ohio has a great place to shoot!!!

Congratulations Ohioans! It does my heart good to see registered trapshooting on the uptick no mater where it is . It seems we Illini and you Buckeyes have a competitive rivalry going and it's good for our sport. Keep up the good work!

I hope someday soon it becomes a friendly rivalry.

The first bird i ever shot at here was the first state shoot. We shot on bank 12 in the mud. Of course just about the whole place was mud but they made it and it was a shoot i will never forget. Been to every shoot {and camping} since and can't believe the progress at each shoot. I think Jack,John,Jenny at the office,Craig, and the osta outdo thereselves every year. BOB Oak harbor, ohio

I don't know who trains the trap help at Cardinal, but they were a great bunch of polite, hardworking, people. After each event all the fields were cleaned of spent shells, and they were always smiling. They knew what they were doing, and it was like clock work. The Cardinal crew is paying attention to the details.

I have to agree with everything said above, well run shoot!! the only problem we had was with the trap running out of targets. This happened on three traps on the same bank. Each time the squad had to stop and have a loader run into the house and load while we shot. Each bank leader should have a clip board keeping track of the target usage on each field. I think this was a very isolated problem, hopefully this will be corrected as the shoot management builds it`s work force.

Lots of good things going on there at the Cardinal Center, sure is nice to see.
